Robert grew up in the Eastern suburbs of Adelaide, attended Campbelltown High and the University of Adelaide where he graduated, majoring in Microbiology and Biochemistry. He then worked for the IMVS in charge of the main diagnostic laboratory. In 1990 Rob was ordained as a Minister of the United Church and worked in several parishes across SA and also assisted other churches to plan for the future. Rob retired in 2015. Rob is married to Heather and has 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren He is a member of the Barton Singers and enjoys painting with water colours.
Induction of Jan Vade

Jan was born in Croatia on 29th June 1945. He later emigrated to Australia where he met his wife Marge, who happened to be the Immigration Officer on the ship bringing him to Australia. Jan has worked in a number of positions, Including lecturing in tertiary education, managing and consulting in private industry and has also been involved in many community groups. Jan and Marge has a son, Anthony, who currently resides in Canada.
